Bring non perishable snacks, reading materials small games, etc.

Mite Box Sundays
Every 2nd Sunday,
Bring your freewill offerings to the big collection box in the narthex.

MITE BOXES
Mite Boxes are used to collect money for missions and projects.  Place your Mite Box wherever you can feed it: the dressing table, office desk, or the kitchen counter.  When full, return your Mite box to Helga W's mailbox and pick up a new one.  Your donations further God's kingdom.  

The story of the Widows Mite:  Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts.  But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny.  Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put in more into the treasury than all the others.  They all gave out of their wealth, but she, out of her poverty, put in everything - all she had to live on" (Mark 12:41-43)

ORPHAN GRAIN TRAIN MISSION PROJECT
Collecting, sorting, and packing much needed items.

SPRING RETREAT
"The Beauty of Wisdom" was held in March at Loretta Spirituality Center.

ANGEL TREE PROJECT
Thank you to everyone who purchased toys and gifts for the children on behalf of their imprisoned parent.

LADIES FALL RALLY
Oct 24th, items such as vitamins, first aid, and health products were collected for Cambodia Lutheran Mission

ZONE WIDE SERVANT EVENT
Held Saturday Sept 12th,
stuffing pillows for Mended Hearts, quilting, highlighting Bibles for prisoners, and assembling personal care item baskets for refugees.


RECOVERY ASSISTANCE INC.
Established by the Southern District LCMS Disaster Response Mission after Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita.
A $5,000 grant has been made.
